Elected to the Arizona State Senate in November of 2004, Sen. Ron Gould brings to the Senate previous political experience from his public service as a Councilman from Lake Havasu City. In addition, for the past 20 years, he has been a small business owner of an air conditioning and heating company.

Ron is a conservative particularly interested in limited government, increasing personal freedom, and increasing personal responsibility. He has been named Chairman of the Transportation Committee, Vice-Chair of the Judiciary Committee, the K – 12 Education Committee, and the Finance Committee.

In addition to being a political advocate, Ron is an avid reader and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including; motor cycling, horse back riding, boating, water skiing, and gardening.

Ron was raised in Orange County, California, but moved to Arizona ten years ago in pursuit of a better quality of life and lower taxes. He brought with him his wife, Janice, and his three children: Ronald Jr., Robbie, and Rachael.
