AN ACT

 

amending Title 15, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-108; relating to THE FEDERAL NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT OF 2001.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 15, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-108, to read:

START_STATUTE15-108.  No child left behind act; opt‑out

Beginning on the effective date of this act, this state shall opt out of participation in the no child left behind act of 2001 (P.L. 107-110, 115 Stat. 1425). END_STATUTE
