AN ACT
amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9-500.29; relating to cities and towns.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.29, to read:
9-500.29. Water softeners; salts
A city or town by ordinance may regulate the use, installation and disposal of water softening devices and systems that discharge sodium into the city's or town's water or wastewater system.
