AN ACT

 

Amending section 17-233, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to bison and bison meat.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 17-233, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE17-233.  Acquisition and disposition of bison and bison meat

A.  The commission may purchase, sell,  or barter, or give away buffalo or buffalo bison or bison meat, provided the same may be given only to public institutions or charitable institutions and monies derived therefrom from sales shall be deposited in the game and fish fund.

B.  The commission may donate bison meat to public institutions or charitable institutions without charge. END_STATUTE
