AN ACT
Making an appropriation to the department of economic security for distribution to the Navajo nation for a power line extension.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Appropriation; power line extension; exemption
A. The sum of $250,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2010‑2011 to the department of economic security for distribution to the Navajo nation for preconstruction survey studies to construct an electrical power line extension to provide basic utility services to families in the Coalmine Canyon chapter community.
B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35‑190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
