AN ACT

 

Making an appropriation to the secretary of State for the development of electronic databases.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; secretary of state; electronic databases; exemption

A.  The sum of $500,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2012-2013 to the secretary of state for the purpose of developing electronic databases for financial disclosures required under title 38, chapter 3.1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, and lobbyist reporting requirements under title 41, chapter 7, article 8.1, Arizona Revised Statutes.

B.  The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
