AN ACT
amending Title 15, chapter 13, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-1630.01; relating to universities.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 13, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-1630.01, to read:
15-1630.01. Textbook information; publication on university website
Each university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona board of regents shall require each professor or instructor who provides classroom instruction to students to accurately provide the following information, which shall be posted annually on the website maintained by that university:
1. Any payment, loan, advance or deposit of money presented or promised for selecting or purchasing specific course materials required for coursework or instruction.
2. Any honoraria, travel expenses, lodging expenses, dining expenses, entertainment expenses, speaking engagement fees, royalties or other compensation that is paid for by a publisher or supplier of textbooks or other academic course materials.
3. A listing of which, if any, of the mandatory course materials selected by that professor or instructor are open source digital textbooks.
