AN ACT

 

Amending title 40, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 40‑211; relating to energy efficiency programs.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 40, chapter 2, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 40-211, to read:

START_STATUTE40-211.  Energy efficiency programs; reporting requirements

For each energy efficiency program a public service corporation implements, the public service corporation shall report annually to the Corporation commission, at a minimum, the following:

1.  How much money the public service corporation collected from ratepayers in the previous year to implement the energy efficiency program.

2.  How much money the public service corporation spent in the previous year on the energy efficiency program for commercial customers versus residential customers.

3.  Which vendors the public service corporation is contracting with to provide energy efficiency services, products or materials and how much money the vendors received from the public service corporation in the previous year.

4.  To date, what the public service corporation's return on its investment is in the energy efficiency program.

5.  To date, what the net effect of the energy efficiency program is in reducing generation costs.

6.  To date, what the net effect of the energy efficiency program is in reducing the utility customer's monthly utility bill.END_STATUTE
