AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
The Barto Floor Amendment to
the HHS Committee amendment makes the following changes:
- Removes
certain professionals from the definition of a health care provider
(nurses, dispensing opticians, pharmacists, psychologists, physician
assistants and behavioral health professionals).
- Removes
the requirement for the direct pay prices to be in a single document.
- Prohibits
license revocation as a penalty for noncompliance.
