The Griffin Floor Amendment does the following:

 

·        requires the secured trust property to have served as the trustor's primary residence for a combined total of at least two years in the past five years leading up to the date the trust property is sold.

 

·        removes the proposed exemption of trustee's sales and makes technical and conforming changes.

Line 14, after the first period strike remainder of line insert "THE SECURED TRUST PROPERTY HAS BEEN OCCUPIED AS THE PRIMARY PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE OF THE TRUSTOR FOR AN AGGREGATE PERIOD OF TWO YEARS OR MORE DURING THE FIVE YEAR PERIOD ENDING ON THE DATE OF THE SALE OF TRUST PROPERTY.”
