AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
Modifies
the definition of qualifying party by removing political subdivisions and
adding school districts.
Removes
proposed language that would have allowed for a political subdivision to enter
into an intergovernmental agreement with another political subdivision for the
purpose of obtaining the services of the other political subdivision’s
qualifying party.
Requires
a political subdivision that uses pesticides to conduct pest management on
property it owns, leases or manages to provide the Arizona Department of
Agriculture with a contact person(s) responsible for responding to inquires or
concerns regarding compliance and stipulates minimum record keeping
requirements.
Requires
a school district to have a qualifying party registered in the appropriate
categories rather than requiring a contact person.
Makes
technical and conforming changes.

(b) Where the personal protective
equipment is located.
(c) Where the pesticides are stored.
(d) That all applicators are
properly certified.
B. A school
district is exempt from subsection A, paragraph 2 of this section, but shall
have a qualifying party who is registered in the appropriate categories."
