Mr. Speaker:

Your Committee on Rules reports that it has had under consideration

            SENATE BILL 1088

and respectfully recommends that the bill be amended as follows:

Page 1, after line 30, insert:

"Sec. 2.  Applicability

Section 22-131, Arizona Revised Statutes, as amended by this act, does not apply to a constable who is serving the remaining portion of a term of office that began before the effective date of this act."

Amend title to conform

and as so amended, in the opinion of this Committee the bill is constitutional and in proper form.
