Page 1, line 4, after "13-3007." strike remainder of line; strike line 5, insert
"House interim study committee on unmanned aircraft; report; delayed repeal"
Line 6, after "A." strike remainder of line; strike lines 7 through 11, insert "The house interim study committee on unmanned aircraft is established consisting of Three members of the house of representatives who are appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives, not more than two of whom are members of the same political party. The speaker of the house of representatives shall designate one of these members to serve as chairperson of the committee.
B. The committee shall study the use of an unmanned aircraft for the following purposes:"
Line 17, strike "a drone" insert "an unmanned aircraft"
Between lines 21 and 22, insert:
"C. The committee shall also assess the economic development, safety and privacy concerns and potential applications of the use of an unmanned aircraft."

"D. The committee shall submit a report regarding the committee's findings and recommendations on or before December 31, 2013 to the governor, the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives and provide a copy of this report to the secretary of state.
E. This section is repealed from and after September 30, 2014."
