AN ACT
Amending title 36, chapter 28.1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 36-2820; relating to medical marijuana.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Pursuant to article IV, part 1, section 1, Constitution of Arizona, title 36, chapter 28.1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-2820, to read:
36-2820. Advertising and labeling inconsistent with this chapter; prohibition; certification revocation
The department shall immediately revoke the registration certificate of a registered nonprofit medical marijuana dispensary that either:
1. Dispenses medical marijuana that is packaged in a way that states, suggests or implies that its use is for anything other than the medicinal purposes prescribed by this chapter.
2. Advertises in a way that states, suggests or implies that it dispenses medical marijuana for a use other than the medicinal purposes prescribed by this chapter.
Sec. 2. Requirements for enactment; three-fourths vote
Pursuant to article IV, part 1, section 1, Constitution of Arizona, section 36-2920, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act, is effective only on the affirmative vote of at least three-fourths of the members of each house of the legislature.
