HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AMENDMENTS TO H.B. 2097

Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:

"Section 1.  Title 13, chapter 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 13-814, to read:

START_STATUTE13-814.  Restitution to pawnbrokers

If the lawful owner of stolen property recovers the property from a pawnbroker and the person who sold or pledged the property to the pawnbroker is convicted of a violation of law that is related to the stolen or pledged property, the court shall order the defendant to make restitution to the pawnbroker pursuant to this chapter."END_STATUTE

Amend title to conform
