FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
The Crandell floor amendment:
· Permits the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) to establish a cancer insurance policy program.
· Clarifies that the cancer program is voluntary at the discretion of the agency and prohibits the Arizona Department of Corrections and ADJC from paying the premiums.
· Removes the supplemental benefit extension, which allows the plan requirement to terminate on October 1, 2014.
