AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
·
Requires
counties with a population between 150,000 and 175,000 to send the question to
increase to a five-member county board of superiors to the qualified electors
at the next general election.
·
Requires,
if the question is affirmed, the board of supervisors to redistrict the county
and elect the prescribed number of supervisor at the next general election.
·
Allows
counties with a population between 100,000 and 150,000 to obtain petition
signatures to send the question to change the number of county board of
superiors at the next general election at which the U.S. President is elected.
