AN ACT
amending Title 15, chapter 14, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-1803.01; relating to university classification for tuition.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 15, chapter 14, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-1803.01, to read:
15-1803.01. Tuition rate for noncitizen Arizona high school graduates who are federally authorized to be in the United States
A university shall establish a separate tuition rate for a person who is federally authorized to be in the United States but who is not a citizen of the United States and who does not meet the requirements for in‑state tuition status prescribed by section 15‑1803 in an amount that does not exceed one hundred ten per cent of the tuition charged to a person who is classified as an in‑state student pursuant to section 15‑1802, if the person meets both of the following requirements:
1. Has resided in this state for the previous four years.
2. Graduated from a public, private or parochial high school in this state.
