AN ACT
amending section 13‑816, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to restitution and fines.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Section 13-816, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
13-816. Answer; time and form
A. The garnishee shall answer the writ of criminal restitution in the court issuing the writ within ten seven days after being served.
B. If the writ of criminal garnishment is for earnings of the defendant, the garnishee shall answer pursuant to section 12‑1598.08. If the writ of criminal garnishment is for indebtedness, monies, personal property or shares of stock, the garnishee shall answer pursuant to section 12‑1579.
