AN ACT
Providing for licensure by the board of behavioral health examiners of certain reciprocal licensees.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Behavioral health professionals; reciprocal licensees; delayed repeal
A. The board of behavioral health examiners shall issue a license to a person who meets all of the following requirements:
1. Held a reciprocal license on September 12, 2013.
2. Was granted that license pursuant to the requirements of section 32-3274, Arizona Revised Statutes, that were in effect on that date.
3. Meets the requirements of section 32-3275, Arizona Revised Statutes.
4. Pays all applicable fees prescribed pursuant to title 32, chapter 33, Arizona Revised Statutes.
5. Submits a completed application as prescribed by the board not later than October 1, 2016.
B. The board shall issue a license pursuant to this section in the same discipline and at an equivalent practice level as the license issued by the other state used by the behavioral health professional in obtaining the reciprocal license.
C. This section is repealed from and after June 30, 2020.
Sec. 2. Emergency
This act is an emergency measure that is necessary to preserve the public peace, health or safety and is operative immediately as provided by law.
