HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AMENDMENTS TO S.B. 1133

 

(Reference to Senate engrossed bill)

 

Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:

"Section 1.  Title 9, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-808, to read:

START_STATUTE9-808.  Energy conservation code prohibition; exception

Beginning January 1, 2018, a city or town may adopt the 2015 version of the international energy conservation code or energy conservation chapter of the international residential code, however denominated.  This section does not prohibit a city or town from adopting the 2012 or prior version of the international energy conservation code or energy conservation chapter of the international residential code before January 1, 2018.END_STATUTE" 

Amend title to conform
