FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

 

The Farnsworth amendment does the following:

 

1.    Clarifies what must be included with the organizational application for a new banking permit.

2.    Specifies that the final application for a new banking permit may begin at any time during the organizational phase.

3.    Specifies that the required capital for a perspective new bank must be raise during the final application process.

4.    Makes technical and conforming changes.
