HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AMENDMENTS TO S.B. 1344

 

(Reference to Senate engrossed bill)

 

Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:

"Section 1.  Title 41, chapter 7, article 8.1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-1234, to read:

START_STATUTE41-1234.  City or town lobbyists; fiduciary duty; disclosure

A lobbyist, a designated public lobbyist or an authorized public lobbyist who is employed by or has a contract with a city or town:

1.  Owes a fiduciary duty to the governing body of that city or town.

2.  Shall disclose to the legislature during legislative testimony whether any member of the governing body of that city or town opposes the position presented by the lobbyist, designated public lobbyist or authorized public lobbyist."END_STATUTE

Amend title to conform

and, as so amended, it do pass
