Amending title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 9-499.19; relating to residential parking.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-499.19, to read:

START_STATUTE9-499.19.  Residential parking; tow trucks

Notwithstanding any provision in rule or ordinance, a municipality may not prohibit a tow truck operator from parking a single tow truck at the tow truck operator's residence if the tow truck operator is required to be available on an on-call basis. END_STATUTE
