SENATE AMENDMENTS TO H.B. 2419

 

(Reference to House engrossed bill)

 

 

Strike everything after the enacting clause and insert:

“Section 1.  Title 9, chapter 4, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 9-500.34, to read:

START_STATUTE9-500.34.  Prohibition on pawnbroker transaction fees or taxes

notwithstanding any other law, a city or town may not impose a fee, tax or assessment on a pawnbroker or person in the business of buying gold in connection with any reportable transaction.”END_STATUTE

Amend title to conform
