FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION

 

The Pancrazi Floor Amendment restores current law that requires:

·       A county attorney to prepare adoption petitions and act as attorney without expense to the prospective adoptive parent; and

·       A licensed adoption agency to submit the adoption petition to the county attorney.
