FLOOR AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
Requires the Department of Health Services to monthly send the Secretary of State a record of all the deaths recorded in the state for all ages. The Department of Health Services will annually provide to the Secretary of State all deaths available in the statewide Electronic Death Registration System year to date.

Line 14, after "provide" insert "to"; strike "with access to" insert "from"
Line 15, after "statewide" insert "electronic death registration"; strike "of all records" insert "without charge a record"; strike "and" insert "of residents of this state that are reported to the department of health services. The records transmitted by the department of health services shall include only the name of the decedent, the decedent's date of birth, the decedent's social security number, if available, the decedent's usual legal residence at the TIME of death and, if available, the decedent's father's name or mother's maiden name."
