AN ACT
amending title 35, chapter 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding article 8; relating to public indebtedness.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 35, chapter 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding article 8, to read:
ARTICLE 8. PAYMENT OF PAYMENT DEFERRALS
35-521. Appropriations; payment of payment deferrals
In addition to any other monies appropriated, the following amounts are appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal years 2017-2018 through 2026-2027 to the following budget units for payment of payment deferrals made in prior fiscal years:
1. $93,072,770 to the department of education.
2. $7,476,040 in to Arizona state university – Tempe and downtown Phoenix campuses.
3. $575,020 to Arizona state university – East campus.
4. $1,006,480 to Arizona state university – West campus.
5. $3,049,480 to Northern Arizona university.
6. $6,215,310 to university of Arizona – main campus.
7. $1,677,670 to university of Arizona – health sciences center.
8. $2,100,000 to the department of economic security.
9. $1,100,000 to the department of child safety.
Sec. 2. Delayed repeal
Title 35, chapter 3, article 8, Arizona Revised Statutes, as added by this act, is repealed from and after September 30, 2029.
