AN ACT
amending title 44, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding chapter 37; relating to school district donations.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 44, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding chapter 37, to read:
CHAPTER 37
SCHOOL DISTRICT DONATIONS
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
44-7861. Donations; school districts; definition
A. A business entity that is located in this state may provide a program that encourages its employees to donate monies to school districts. Notwithstanding any other law, a school district may use monies donated pursuant to this section for maintenance and operations purposes or capital purposes, or both.
B. For the purposes of this section, "business entity" means any corporation, association, partnership, limited liability company, limited liability partnership or other legal entity except an individual or a sole proprietorship.
