FLOOR
AMENDMENT EXPLANATION
1.
Requires
the Committee review DCS's implementation of policy and procedures and program
effectiveness. The Committee is also required to review certain reports issued
by DCS and audits issued by the Office of the Auditor General.
2.
Requires
the Committee to meet at least biannually instead of as often as the members
deem necessary.
3.
Removes
the provision that prohibits the Committee from meeting in executive session.
