·         Stipulates the permitted on-time emergency refill is for each prescription of a noncontrolled medication.

 

·         Modifies the definition of “every reasonable effort” to mean multiple attempts to contact the prescriber or staff through multiple means necessary if multiple means are available.

 

·         Stipulates the outlined requirements of a pharmacist who wishes to prescribe and dispense tobacco cessation drug therapies do not apply to pharmacists recommending nonprescription tobacco cessation therapies to a patient without a prescription.
