Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): An emergency measure that appropriates $1,367,248 in FY 2007-2008 and $1,440,492 in FY 2008-2009 from the state General Fund to the Nuclear Emergency Management Fund. The measure assesses the same amounts plus interest against each consortium of public service corporations and municipal corporations engaged in constructing or operating a commercial nuclear generating station.
