SB 1290 ASRS; benefits; normal retirement; refunds
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Makes numerous changes to Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) statutes regarding normal retirement for new members employed on or after July 1, 2009. Requires ASRS to recover overpayments from ASRS or the Long-Term Disability Program (LTD) by reducing the member or payee’s benefit.
