SB 1309 parents; rights
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Outlines parental rights related to healthcare, education, recordings, scans, genetic testing and the upbringing of a minor child. Prescribes additional procedures a school district governing board must develop related to parental involvement. Prohibits health professionals from writing a prescription for a minor or a person from performing mental health screening or treatment of a minor except under certain circumstances.

Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Subject to voter approval, constitutionally authorizes the conveyance of trust land or interests in trust land without auction or advertisement in order to protect military installations.
