SB 1030 driver license violations; suspensions
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Effective January 1, 2011, allows the Arizona Department of Transportation to restrict the driving privilege of a person who is convicted of driving with a suspended driver license. Removes the SR-22 requirement in the case where vehicle registration and plates have been suspended due to a request for proof of insurance.

SB 1222 medical marijuana; transaction privilege tax
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Excludes medical marijuana dispensed from a registered nonprofit medical marijuana dispensary from the Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) and use tax exemption for drugs and medical oxygen, regardless of whether the medical marijuana is dispensed through the written certification of a physician. Imposes a luxury tax of $20 on each ounce of medical marijuana dispensed from a registered nonprofit marijuana dispensary.

SB 1443 photo enforcement procedures
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Modifies procedures related to photo enforcement violations and requires a portion of photo enforcement monies to be used for law enforcement purposes. Permits off-duty officers to serve documents. Prohibits a person from applying a covering or substance to a license plate that obscures the plate from any angle.
