HB 2116 ambulance services; rates; AHCCCS members
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Codifies the remuneration that contractors of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) provide for ambulance services at 80 percent of the rates established by the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS). Establishes, in session law, a remuneration rate of 76 percent in contract year (CY) 2010 and CY 2011.

HB 2699 child prostitution; classification
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Eliminates the defense to engaging in child prostitution with a minor who is 15, 16 or 17 years of age if the defendant did not know the age of the minor, and instead classifies that offense as a class 6 felony. Increases the term of imprisonment for a person who engages in child prostitution with a minor the person knows is 15, 16 or 17 years of age.
