HB 2393 special education; surrogate parents
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Replaces the court of competent jurisdiction with the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) to appoint a surrogate parent to represent a child with a disability whose parent cannot be identified or located, in matters related to special education identification, evaluation and placement.
