Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Makes omnibus changes to audiologist licensure requirements including a) changing the educational requirements for a licensed audiologist and dispensing audiologist from a master’s degree to a doctoral degree; b) eliminating required postgraduate professional experience requirements; and c) grandfathering individuals with master’s degrees obtained before December 31, 2007. Increases the continuing education requirements for audiologists and speech-language pathologists.
