HB 2046     Arizona highways special plates

 

Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Creates the Arizona Highways special plate and requires the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to deposit all donations collected through the issuance of the plates in the Arizona Highways Magazine Fund.  Requires ADOT to issue the In God We Trust special plate if an entity provides the necessary monies to implement the plate.

HB 2129     internet age misrepresentation

 

Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Establishes the offense of unlawful age misrepresentation as using an electronic communication device to knowingly misrepresent the person’s age for the purposes of committing a sexual offense.  Classifies unlawful age misrepresentation as a class 3 felony subject to sentencing as a dangerous crime against children (DCAC) if the victim is under 15 years of age and requires upon conviction a person to register as a sex offender.

Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): An emergency measure that requires the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Council to recommend standards to allow for the transport of a patient to a health care institution licensed as a special hospital and that is connected to an emergency receiving facility.  Permits the Department of Health Services (DHS) to authorize other entities to use data in the Arizona State Trauma Registry (ASTR) for specified purposes and restricts the use of confidential information in the ASTR.
