HB 2475 schools; pupil disciplinary proceedings
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Allows a school district to use Class B bonds proceeds for computer hardware, except for computer hardware whose useful life is less than the duration of the bond issue or seven years, whichever is less. Limits the amount of a capital override at 100% of the school district's capital outlay revenue limit (CORL) for the budget year. Permits a school district governing board to confidentially maintain documentation of reported incidents of harassment, intimidation or bullying even if the incidents are not proven.

HB 2643 liquor; restaurant licenses; continued operation
Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Makes omnibus changes to statutes related to operating a watercraft under the influence (OUI) and driving under the influence (DUI). Continues, until FY 2012-2013, the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control’s (ADLLC) ability to approve the continuation of a restaurant license (modified restaurant license) for an establishment that derives between 30 and 40 percent of its gross revenue from food sales.

Purpose (For more information see Fact Sheet): Creates a separate fingerprint clearance card for foster and prospective foster and adoptive parents in accordance with the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act and for people required by the Department of Economic Security to have a fingerprint clearance card.
