AN ACT

 

Amending title 32, chapter 32, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 32-3226; relating to health professionals.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Title 32, chapter 32, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 32-3226, to read:

START_STATUTE32-3226.  Schedule II controlled substances; dosage limit; prohibition

This state, any department, agency, board or commission of this state or any political subdivision of this state may not limit the morphine milligram equivalents per day of a schedule II controlled substance that may be prescribed for pain management by a health professional who is authorized under this title to prescribe controlled substances.
