AN ACT

 

appropriating monies to the arizona department of agriculture.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; Arizona department of agriculture; personal services and employee-related expenditures

In addition to any other appropriations made in fiscal year 2018‑2019, the sum of $425,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2018-2019 to the Arizona department of agriculture for personal services and employee-related expenditures.  The department shall use the monies to increase the hourly wage for noncertified livestock inspectors employed by the department to $18.00.
