AN ACT
amending title 33, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 33‑434.02; relating to real property.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 33, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 33-434.02, to read:
33-434.02. Owner disclosure; common household materials
An owner of real property, before transferring ownership of the property, shall give written notice to the purchaser that states that the disposal of certain common household materials, including paint, electronic equipment and lead acid batteries as defined in section 44‑1321, may contain toxic chemicals that require special disposal to protect water supplies and the environment. The notice shall state that the buyer may contact the city, town or county environment department for information on how to safely dispose of or recycle these products.
