Abstract

Relating to appropriations and the Arizona Department of Economic Security.

Provisions

1. Appropriates $1,500,000 to ADES from the GF in FY 2019 for a statewide information and referral service for health care services, community services, human services and governmental services. (Sec. 1)

2. Permits ADES to provide service directly or through a public private partnership. (Sec. 1)

3. Requires an accredited entity who provides the services to employ 2-1-1 dialing access. (Sec. 1)

Additional Information

2-1-1, Community Information and Referral Services, is a non-profit organization that provides free information and referral services for health and human services issues. 2-1-1 refers callers to specialists in their community for further support and services.
