Relating to psychologist licensure.
Provisions
1. Allows a doctoral degree program accredited by the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System to meet educational requirements for licensure. (Sec. 1)
An applicant for licensure must have a doctoral degree accredited by one of the following regional accrediting agencies at the time of graduation:
· The New England Association of Schools and Colleges;
· The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools;
· The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools;
· The Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges;
· The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; or
· The Western Association of Schools and Colleges. (A.R.S. § 32-2071)
A doctoral degree program that was accredited by the American Psychological Association meets educational requirements. (A.R.S. § 32 – 2071.01)
