Provisions

1.       Asserts that the Legislature recognizes:

a.       The mental health system exists to benefit patients and protect the public.

b.       Families of a person with mental health issues deserve be treated with respect when seeking care for their family member.

c.        Families have the right to receive help when navigating the mental health system; and

d.       Their responsibility to make the mental health system work.
