Provisions

1.       Permits a silver alert notification to be issued for a missing person who has a developmental disability. (Sec. 1)

2.       Defines developmental disability. (Sec. 1)

Current Law

A silver alert notification system is a quick response system designed to issue and coordinate alerts for missing persons who are of 65 years or older in age or who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease or dementia. ADPS is responsible for the establishment and use of the silver alert notification system. (A.R.S § 41-1728).
