Relating to the state motto.
Provisions
1. Allows a teacher or administrator to read or post the state motto in any school building. (Sec. 1)
2. Outlines the national motto. (Sec. 1)
Current Law
Teachers and administrators are permitted to read or post the following in any school building:
· The national motto.
· The national anthem.
· The Pledge of Allegiance.
· The Preamble to the Constitution of Arizona.
· The Declaration of Independence.
· The Mayflower Compact.
· Documents of the founding fathers and presidents.
· Published decisions of the Supreme Court.
· Acts of Congress (A.R.S. § 15-717).
