Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; department of revenue; independent study; transaction privilege tax reporting

The sum of $________ is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2018-2019 to the department of revenue for an independent study of the rate of noncompliance with section 42‑5075, Arizona Revised Statutes, by persons who are subject to the prime contracting classification of the transaction privilege tax.
