AN ACT
Amending title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 11‑251.20; relating to essential county services.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 11, chapter 2, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 11-251.20, to read:
11-251.20. Appropriation; essential county services
The sum of $7,650,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in each fiscal year to the department of administration for essential county services. The department shall distribute the monies equally to each county with a population of five hundred thousand or fewer persons.
